Fondita Nordic Small Cap – One of the Winners in the Swedish Fund Selection Agency’s Procurement!

19, The Swedish Fund Selection Agency (Fondtorgsnämnden, FTN) announced the results in the procurement of Nordic equity funds small-cap. A total of four asset managers are warded fund agreements, and Fondita, with the Fondita Nordic Small Cap fund, is one of them. The award decision means that SEK 9 billion of premium pension savers’ funds will be allocated to these funds:

• Fondita Nordic Small Cap – Fondbolaget Fondita Ab
• Handelsbanken Nordiska Småbolag – Handelsbanken Fonder AB
• Nordea Småbolagsfond Norden – Nordea Funds Ltd
• SEB Nordic Small Cap Fund – SEB Investment Management AB

“Out of a total of ten submitted bids, four asset managers have been awarded fund agreements with Fondtorgsnämnden. These asset managers and funds received the highest scores in the overall evaluation of the bids and met the mandatory requirements of the procurement,” Fondtorgsnämnden writes in its procurement report.

“The fact that all funds in this category are now quality-assured means a safer choice environment for savers. Regardless of which fund you choose, you can rest assured that it is a fund with high quality management,” says Erik Fransson, Executive Director of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency, in the press release.
